Education
I received my Bachelor's Degree in English on May 2015 from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. I also received my Associate's Degree from Richard Bland College in Petersburg, Va, on May 2013. At the moment, I am working towards getting my Program Design CSC from John Tyler Community College.
Experience
I studied writing for four years at the Appomattox Regional Governor's School for Arts and Technology in Petersburg, VA prior to college, and continued my study of English for four years after that to achieve both my Associate's and Bachelor's degrees. I have plenty of experience in academic writing as well as creative writing (fiction, nonfiction, poetry), and an excellent grasp on grammar and reading comprehension. In addition, I've taken college level Japanese (101, 102, 201, and 202) at William and Mary, and am currently continuing my studies of it privately. Since I enjoy helping others and hate to see students struggling with work, I believe I would be an excellent tutor. I think all students should have a chance to be able to grasp the materials being taught, and I would love to do my best to aid them in reaching that goal.

Mon/Wed/Fri in the afternoon, Thursday in the afternoon, Weekends after 12 Noon

Hobbies
While I'm not studying or working on coding projects for school, I enjoy reading or playing video games. I also like to write and draw; I have a few personal projects that I work on in my free time, but I also draw for fun. I also enjoy bike riding and being out in nature, and I love playing with animals of all types! I'm the oldest child, with three younger siblings (one of which is special needs), so I have plenty of experience being around children/teens of different ages and learning abilities. I'm very easygoing and understanding, but I also know when I need to be serious. I've had job experience working with elementary-age students, so I have lots of patience, but I know how to have fun as well!
